USA: YOU START AGAIN U— U S— Start A— Again For many years the USA was a paradise for all the immigrants, who sought Refugee or Asylum status no matter where they came from. But it has now become different. These migrants are not getting legal status easily or as quickly as before and many are undergoing so many impediments within this period. Due to many reasons, the situation has now become worse just like the former president Abraham Lincoln stated in 2013. When you are trying to settle down in the US, it is absolute chaos for all the migrants. There’s no big difference to legal immigrants such as permanent residents or Green Card holders. “Education” is what matters mostly to immigrants. Everybody living in this world is learning a new thing every day whether they like it or not. You have to learn everything what comes in your way, even the day to day events. Education for professionals like Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, or Architects is no different from others in the United Status. You need to obtain license or familiarize with the process with a training to be eligible to apply for employment. You got to study again. That’s why immigrants call the USA as a place where YOU START AGAIN. SUPPA’S believes that we have a major role to play in this situation and are ready to serve immigrants in every possible way. SUPPA’S have designed many programs to inculcate immigrants. We are mainly focusing in Maryland, Texas, New York, and California for these programs.
SUPPA’S does not talk about Immigration Law. The real issue is life beyond immigration. It is a question whether the immigrants in the US suffer more than immigrants in other major countries to settle down with their families. “Migrants know Migrants.” SUPPA’S has now teamed up with professionals in many fields and organizations in the US and other countries to serve immigrants with due care, love, and protection. SUPPA’S will work professionally, elegantly and effectively for them to live peacefully and equally with all other citizens of America irrespective of all differences and with due respect to the laws and regulations prevailing in all 50 States, DC and the US Federal Government. There are indeed a few hundreds of organizations that serve immigrants in the United States. Each provides just one or a few services where immigrants need to look for 10 different providers in multiple places. The issue is that there is no ‘fixed structure’ for immigrants to understand the living styles in the United States. Nevertheless, there are issues that immigrants are struggling with, having no idea how to overcome them. Even most of the counseling services and facilitators are unaware of what the issues are. You cannot find answers unless you can analyze the issues. UNDOCUMENTED STUDENTS It is at a crucial time for the fate of undocumented students in the US. Hence the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). On June 15, 2012, several thousand undocumented students successfully graduated from US High schools. Unfortunately, the TRUMP Administration ended the DACA program on September 5, 2017. There are few lawsuits against the TRUMP Administration decision which are now before the US Supreme Court and the combined decision is now pending which many are keeping an eye out for. DACA STUDENTS DACA students were issued Social Security Numbers and Employment Authorizations where they were able to obtain Financial Aid (FAFSA) for their higher education. DREAM Act It is also a question of what the position of students who are under the cover of the DREAM Act, which helps children below 15 years of age, would be. The DREAM Act is bipartisan legislation pioneered by 2 Senators and under his act qualifying undocumented youth would be eligible for a 6 yearlong conditional path to citizenship with a college degree or 2 years of military service. The Act further provides opportunities for youth who did not graduate to obtain conditional permanent residency in the United States.
Immigrants are suffering for ignorance as everything is new to them. One of the main issues is the “cultural challenges” faced by immigrants that arise within their families, mainly between children and parents. Lack of professionals in many different fields who represent different diverse cultures and Counselors who are highly knowledgeable to handle everyday issues as well as practical life issues of many nationalities. The US Education system is different from all other nations. Systems are in place giving students multiple choice of paths for many opportunities and as these are existing in the systems, it is the responsibility of each student to comply with. When it comes to immigrants and their day to day living activities the systems are no different from what students face in schools. Immigrants do not have authorities to get direct answers to their issues. Most of the Immigrants are not computer friendly and they cannot find answers online. Another major issue in all US systems is the deadlines. You are a new immigrant in the US. You know nothing about any issues and they know nothing about you. Who can teach these to you? How do you know whom to ask and where to ask? SUPPA’S are professionals who have experience working with immigrants from all over the world, in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and also immigrants in the United States. From day one, migrants have to face what is the best state and best location and then how to lease a property and to meet all requirements. Finding schools that match the requirement of their children The language barriers. Migrants are facing great adversity to find jobs matching their qualifications and experiences. Health issues and Tax issues are again some of the major issues that migrants face.
