Immigration New Zealand established their key visa consular office in Mumbai. Mumbai branch includes India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Middle East, South Africa, US and Europe. Randall Joined New Zealand Immigration as a Senior Immigration Officer with all skills he has earned in various international organizations. He has rendered his services in Mumbai INZ office from June 2013 till November 2018 till the INZ decides to stop all operations and shut down the Mumbai Office due to Covid-19 but yet he was further employed by the New Zealand Government Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, New Zealand Consulate as a Technical Advisor. Randall was the key for the quality of INZ decisions and his judgement to assess and decide visa applications through the effective administration was always appreciated by the INZ and Randall has mastered all New Zealand immigration policies and procedures. Randall was a great leader to other fellow visa officers. Randall was the key resource to technical support to the team, resolve complex and challenging visa applications. He was specially trained to use absolute discretion when making decisions on section 61 requests, considering the national interest and rights of individuals. Randall was best in providing accurate and timely advice on all immigration law, policy and procedures to everyone, Defining Privacy Act and Information Act, proactively taking responsibility for keeping up to date with changes including relevant policy, procedures and law. Managing all visa applications related material securely in accordance with the relevant legislation. Randall was part of the Special Processing and Operations Team (SPOT) undertaking risk specific projects for the Risk Team at Mumbai. Provide immigration policy advice along with evaluating assessments made by Immigration Officers and also worked in risk and verification team to develop documents outlining immigration policy implication, and risk trends gathered from various markets. Randall’s work later expanded to Meeting with immigration officers to discuss relevant feedback identified during quality checks and establish appropriate plans to meet compliance. He worked with Practice Leads, Immigration Managers, and Visa Managers. Further he was responsible to identify training needs for Immigration, Support Officers and deliver an appropriate coaching plan. Randall has contributed a lot to INZ especially undertaking recruitment of new immigration officers, effectively contributing to the induction, training new officers and all additional activities while working as the Immigration Manager and Assurance Advisor. After leaving INZ Mumbai Office, Randall has carried out a market research to begin his career assisting international students and with his previous experience of the quality work of SUPPA’S/SFA Randall decided to join SUPPA’S. Randall graduated from Mumbai University and then worked in multi-national companies such as British Airways, Air Canada Project, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Kingfisher Airlines Ltd before he join INZ. Randall possessed skills in MS Office, FOXPRO, C, C++, JAVA, JAVA SCRIPT, SQL, UNIX and hold license and certificates in IT, Management, Administration, HR and Internationalism.
