Amila is a Chartered Marketer with experience over two decades in the International Business and is a permanent resident in New Zealand living with his wife and son for last 8 years. Amila successfully completed Professional Certificate in Marketing, Professional Diploma in Marketing, and Chartered Marketer Program to become a chartered marketer of Chartered Marketing Institute, UK. In 2014 Amila completed NZQA level 09 Post Graduate Diploma in International Studies at IPU Tertiary Institute, in New Zealand. Amila served as the Manager, Business Development to Access Engineering PLC Colombo, Sri Lanka from Feb 2008 to May 2013 where he led the Access web development team which implemented Access Engineering PLC website and also served as the Chief Coordinator to the team that created Access Engineering PLC Company Profile. In 2012, Amila won the “Access Star” award which was the highest award of Access Group. Amila joined New Zealand Post in Customer Service Department till 2018 and now employed at WR Phillip leading the Service Department. Amila was a very good cricketer who played for his school team, S. Thomas College Mount Lavinia and thereafter Amila played club cricket in Sri Lanka for few years.
