Tissa completed his secondary education at Maliyadewa College in Sri Lanka and Attorney-at-Law from Sri Lanka Law College in 1990. Tissa joined the Judicial Service and became a District Judge and served the country from 1995 to 2010 where he migrated to Canada with his wife who also an Attorney and with their 2 daughters. Tisa completed a Diploma in International Comparative Law at Monash University, Australia and studied Canadian Law at the University of Ottawa. Tissa further completed an ADR at the Toronto York University and now a successful Barrister serving thousands of immigrants to settle down in Canada with their families.
